In today's era, families have more than one gaming system in their home. In fact, there are only certain games that can be played in more then one gaming system such as, Game Cube Games. There has been a GREAT deal of advertising and talk when it comes to the new edition of the Nintendo Wii, Microsoft's XBox Kinect Motion, and the Sony PlayStation 3 Move. The rivalry amongst these companies have caused people to be indecisive about their decision on which system to purchase.

Many people are aware of the fun-filled, family time that the Nintendo Wii has brought to our families. The unique style controllers and drawing pad capabilities make the Wii very intriguing to young children. However, the Microsoft's XBox Kinect Motion and the Sony PlayStation 3 Move primarily concentrate on the performance and action of the games. The updated 3D graphics and wireless controllers add flare.

What do they offer?

The Nintendo Wii has recently been priced from $179 - $250 in most locations. This bundle typically includes a game or two, remote controllers, manual, and console. It consists of wireless controllers, DVD Drive to play movies, stores games on a memory card or the SD Card built into the console, and will connect with a Nintendo DS portable system through its microphone and touchscreen capabilities.Customers would have a choice between red, black or white systems and the remotes would have be programmed for them to work properly. However, the set-up and/or programming is very minimal.

The Wii also has additional accessories that can be purchased separately for extra fun and players. In fact, the Wii has an online store available for players to buy classic or new games (Wii, GameCube and Nintendo 64) by using points earned. Points can also be bought online through the same store from $5 and up. Wii games are commonly sold new for $30 - $50. Whereas, preowned games can be purchased from $5 and up depending where you go.

The Microsoft's XBox Kinect Motion was priced between $350 - $475. The Kinect Motion bundle is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi connection for LIVE HD DVD movie and gaming abilities. In fact, some games require you to be the remote leaving you hands-free and ready for fun. Customers may find the XBox Kinect Motion in the color black or white. This gaming system has adventure and sport games that can be played by children 6 and up and many adults. In most locations a new games costs around $50 - $70 and preowned games run between $10 and up.

The PlayStation 3 Move was found to be priced averaging $351 - $550. The bundle would contain one or two games depending on the offer, High-Definition Blue-ray DVD Drive for movies, and Wi-Fi internet connection. This Move gaming system usually is found in the color black. It also has flash and memory cards that are compatible with most personal computers. These cards can store digital photos that can be viewed on the television screen. Most new games sell for $50 - $60. Whereas, preowned games sell between $10 and up.
